(D) Deadlifts + Back :: 531 Cycle 3 Week 1

Mood: Meh

Trying out new gym with tons of new tools and equipment. (Deadlift jack. Chalk. Bumper Plates. 55lb PLATES!)

And I don’t have my phone to help me out with that.

Or to even Snapchat it.

Which really means I didn’t even lift.

Here’s the training:


  • 3×5 40%, 50%, 60%
  • 5 reps 65% 245#
  • 5 reps 75% 285#
  • 0¬†reps 85% 315# (Failed)

Results: SUCKS

Failed so hard.

But you know what? I am happy. Setting up Deadlifts was a breeze. Having Round shaped plates is awesome. Having a chalk bowl is awesome. EVERYTHING”S AWESOME!

Everything was so awesome, I did some cardio by walking 25 minutes.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey Protein,  Creatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
