(A) Bench + Chest :: 531 Cycle 1 Week 2

Mood: Depleted.

The only thing I have had today to eat or drink was a can of green Monster. (Yes, fructose, I know but I am allergic to artificial sweetener. Yes, even that one.)

Lets see what my bodies does.

Here’s the training:

  • Bench Press 3×5 70#, 90#, 110#
  • Bench Press 3 reps 70%
  • Bench Press 3 reps 80%
  • Bench Press 8 reps 90% (PR)
Big But Boring
  • Incline Close Grip DB Bench Press 4×10+8 reps 90#

Results: Now I know the impact of having very little carbs or carbs based on sugar alone.

I know for a fact that if I had a cup of oats this morning, which is about the same amount of carbs, I would have been able to nail the training.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey ProteinCreatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.

Not only did I have little carbs this morning, but I had a low carb day yesterday. It was enough for Arm day but nothing carried over today.
