Deadlifts – Week 19

Mood: Manic.

Episodes.

Anxiety filled.

I had nearly six episodes between Friday and this morning. Every one of them I was able to walk away mentally except for this one.

Last time, I had a series of three and it was I didn’t go to the gym between Tuesday and Sunday.

This time, Wednesday and Sunday.

I can no longer not go to the gym on the weekend. In fact, Sunday might be too late.

It is time to rearrange my schedule.

Here’s the workout:

Warm-ups
  • Romanian Deadlifts 135# 1×10; 185# 1×10; 225# 1×5; 285# 2×5
Sets
  • Deadlifts 5×3 325#
Finishers
  • Lat Pulldown 5×8 195#

Results: Level 9000

I bumped up my Deadlift from 315 last week (feeling weak as sauce) to 325 this week.

When I went for my first rep and pull that bitch, it was so easy that I swore I asked myself, “HOLY SHIT DID I JUST TAKE ‘ROIDS!”

I keep trying to get to 20 but 15 reps total seems to be the limit. I might just go 5×3 for now on.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey ProteinCreatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.

You think the calories and the carbs had something to do with that awesome pull? Damn, if I could afford it, I would just jack my carbs to 400 on training days and let the good times roll.

Shoot. Carbs are cheap. Lemme see what’s what.
