Bench – Week 19

Mood: Fucking amazing.

My Bipolar/PTSD triggers usually when my stepkids are gone for the weekend–when it is should be the most peaceful.

I made it through.

And I made it through the weekend really really really happy.

Meds on point.

Trained on Friday and Sunday.

Rested.

Ate well.

Spent qt time with my babies and my bebe.

Went to church.

Most of all, I didn’t feel like I was being pulled around (which I think sets the scene for a trigger). I combat this by saying, “I want to do this”. Whether it be working out, date, going out for breakfast or whatever. It is important for me to make the plans for the weekend and not feel like I am being dragged around.

  • Clean and Press 85# 5×5

  • Bench 5×10 102.5#
  • Concentration Curls 5×10 32.5#
Finishers
  • Standing One-Arm Biceps Cable Curl 60# 3×10
  • Standing One-Arm Overhead Cable Triceps Extension 60# 3×12

Results: Stronk.

I swapped out my OHP/Barbell Curl Superset with Clean and Press. I think I like this a lot.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey ProteinCreatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
