Squats, OHP, Deadlifts (B) :: Stronglifts 5×5 Week 3

Mood: Nirvana.

After banging out supersets.

After some wicked finishers.

When my hands finally untangled from my snatch hook grip off the last rep of the last Deadlift set, I stood up and I felt alive.

Even after midnight.

Even after loss of sleep.

I felt incredible.

I was a bit high.

As strong af.

Also, I blew my diet by about 450 calories. And I ended up having the best workout of my life? Not a coincidence.

Warm-ups:
  • Squats 45# 2×5; 75 1×3
  • OHP 45# 2×5
  • Deadlifts 135# 1×5; 185# 1×5
Training:
Supersets
  • High Bar Barbell Back Squats 5×5 125#
    • Triceps Extensions 5×15 30#
  • Overhead Press 5×5 75#
    • Smith Machine Shrugs 5×10 405#
  • Deadlifts 3×5 205#
    • Triceps Pushdowns 5×10 70#
Finishers
  • High Bar Barbell Back Squats 20 reps 65#
  • Overhead Press 10 reps 65#
    • Smith Machine Shrugs 1×10 405#;  1×12 315#; 1×20 225#
  • Triceps Pushdowns 1×8 80#; 1×12 60#; 1×20 50#

 

Results: Monstrous.

This is my best workout ever.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey ProteinCreatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
