Squats, Bench, Rows, Biceps (A) :: Stronglifts 5×5 Week 5

Mood: Deload or not deload, that is the question.

After two not-as-awesome training days this week, I contemplating deloading or even cutting my Squats down to 3×5. But a friend reminded that I am not failing on the Main lifts. So keep going.

And going I shall.

Here’s the workout:

Warm-ups:
  • Squats 45# 2×5; 95# 1×5;  135# 1×5
  • Bench 75# 3×10
Training:
Supersets
  • High Bar Barbell Back Squats 5×5 160#
  • Barbell Bench Press 5×5 105#
  • Barbell Rows 0 reps – Because eff that.
    • Kroc Rows 3×5 100# – Eff yea!
Finishers
  • High Bar Barbell Back Squats 1×10 65#
    • Barbell Curls 1×10 65#
  • Barbell Bench Press 1×10 105#
    • Kroc Rows 3x Dropsets 95#, 90#, 85#

Results: Not too shabby.

Supplements: C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out.

Daily: Whey ProteinCreatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
