Triceps + Abs :: Kettlebell TRM Week 18

Mood: All about the volume.

Since this training day is way more isolated than my other days, I need to put in tons of volumes.

Although, I am thinking about working in either Heavy Swings or Bottoms-Up Snatches to sprinkle in some kind of Compound training.

Here’s the workout:

Warm-ups:
  • KB Halos 16kg 2×10
  • KB Goblet Squats 16kg 2×5
Training:
Supersets
  • Chair-Assisted Dips -75# (Fat Gripz) – 100 reps
  • Ab Wheels (Kneeling) -100 reps
Kettlebell
  • Tricep Extensions¬† (Fat Gripz) – 150 reps

Results: Two things.

I love getting in rep work with the light Dips. However there will come a time, sooner than later, where I will need to up the weight in order to get as close to bodyweight as possible. By using a chair, I figure I am cutting out 90lbs.  Then I add a 15# chain in order to cut the assistance down to 75#. Next step, would be to get a

Daily: Creatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
