Squats + Cleans :: Kettlebell TRM Week 16

Mood: Whatever it takes.

So in two weeks, I finally start my Powerlifting/Bodybuilding hybrid program. That means I have two weeks of KB work to put in. I have set the goals and I intended to reach them.

I wanted to put in 100 reps of 70# Squats. Whatever it takes to get to 100 even if it meant to drop Cleans, I shall.

Here’s the workout:

Warm-ups:
  • KB Halos 16kg 2×10
  • KB Goblet Squats 16kg 2×5
Training:
Supersets
  • Single KB Clean  70# 42 reps
  • Hang Clean 70# 42 reps
  • KB Rack Squat 70# 42 reps
  • Goblet Squat 70# 42 reps

Doubles

  • Double KB Cleans 106# 18 reps
  • Front KB Squats 106# 18 reps

Results: Knocked out.

I wanted to Squat away 7000# in one workout. If my calculations serve correctly, I have hit 7788# tonight.

Eff yes!

Supplements: 2 pill Hydroxycut and 2 pill Yohimbine HCL and washed it down with C4 taken 30 minutes prior to working out. Consequently, I believe this combination prevented me from falling asleep until 3a in the morning.

Daily: Creatine (for the one extra rep and swoleness) and Fish Oil (joints) everyday.
