Squats + Cleans :: Pre-Powerlifting TRM Week 10 Deload

Mood: Shaking up my program.

Some Achilles tendonitis followed by a Vasectomy last Friday equals keeping it easy.

In the meantime…

I am doing away with doubles until I can get 2x24kgs.

I am going to focus more on single KB work.

I have more days to work out so I am going to split apart my Squat and Press days.

Here’s the workout:

Warm-ups:
  • KB Halos 16kg 3×10
  • KB Goblet Squats 16kg 3×5
Training:
Rest 1
  • Single KB Clean  70# 1×11 (PR)
  • Hang Clean 70# 1×7 (PR)
Singles
  • KB Rack Squat 70# 1×10 (PR)
  • Goblet Squat 70# 1×7 (PR)

Results: Still adjusting my volume. Reroute my program. Starts next week.
