Program: Back to Supersets

I experimented for 3 months using singular focus days thinking I can get more work in on my lower body, shoulders, and back.

This might have worked when I was single and no responsibilities and nothing better to do but to go to the gym. Instead, I am 39 and have a hot wife and six awesome kids. I literally don’t got time for dat.

Instead of fantasizing about working out 5 days a week, barely getting in 2 days, I decided to switch up using supersets (little to no rest between switching exercises.

Each day I warm up with Halos, Goblet Squats, Push-ups, and Shrugs.

  • Front Squat
  • Double Press
  • Rack Squat
  • Press
  • Goblet Squat
  • Finish it out with Dips and Chin-ups

Wednesdays – Rows & Chest

  • Bent Over Rows
  • Floor Press
  • Krocs
  • Pullovers
  • 0.5 Rows
  • 1.25 Tricep Extensions
  • Finish out with Dips and Pull-ups

Fridays – Deadlifts

  • Deadlifts
  • Tricep Pulls
  • Lat Pulls
  • Bicep Curls

I am going to keep to the PRs. I think I will try this for three cycles
